MANILA, Nov. 13, 2016 – Do you appreciate good dancing? 2KK Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation is inviting the public to help raise funds to send kids and youth to school by attending the MAD – Make a Difference: A Dance Showcase on Nov. 20 at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of the Ateneo de Manila University.
Together with the UP Street Dance Club, the 3-time Philippine National Team Representative to the World Hip-hop Championships, 43 kids and youth from Payatas, Quezon City; Escopa, Cubao; and Sampaloc, Manila will treat the audience to hip-hop and jazz during the 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. shows.
“[I hope] that the kids may continue dreaming and reaching for their dreams … that they will know and always remember they have countless kapwa kapatids (siblings) that are here to back them up, that they may continue growing to be the leaders in their community no matter how young they are,” said 2KK Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation co-founder Kritzia Santos in an interview.
The beneficiaries, who have been mentored by the UP Street Dance Club for three years now, trained for 2 months for what will be their third dance concert since becoming 2KK scholars.
